I know how to search for it, but I'd like your help in breaking down a situation. I thought I mastered the mixed armor rules, but it appears that my friend and I have been doing it wrong. Please help?
Terminator Sorcerer up front, in a unit of 5 CSM. The unit suffers 10 bolter wounds.
Order of operations? Please hold my hand with the LoS. It is just too abstract for me, and it's embarassing. Thanks!

I have the same question. Basically I want to know what happens when a character is in front and the unit takes wounds. Does he continuously roll saves until he dies or do the wounds spread around the squad after he passes one?

if your terminator lord is in front you keep taking saves on him with his 2+ until either he dies or saves them all if he dies then you would resume taking saves on the csm at there 3+

It goes like this:
If the Terminator Sorcerer chooses not to use Look out Sir he then rolls a save, if he fails he is wounded, If he makes it he is fine.
If the Terminator Sorcerer chooses to use Look out Sir he then rolls Look Out Sir, if he fails he rolls a save, if he fails he is wounded. If he passes his Look Out Sir roll a CSM takes the save (Using his 3+ power armor value) and if he fails you remove him as a casualty (If he was a 1 wound model).
Do this for the second wound, the third wound etc until the wound pool is empty or the Terminator Sorcerer is dead. Once the Terminator Sorcerer is dead you can roll the remaining saves for the CSM's all at once since they all have a 3+ save.

Thank you.
Nice information to have, especially since my regular opponent often has a Rune Priest mixed within GHs.
Or, Lysander up front with sternguard behind (and I have AP3 bolters)

Do this for each group of wounds in the wound pool
All saves the same: Roll all saves, Allocate Unsaved Wound, LOS or not, roll FnP (If all models have the same FnP, you can roll all FnP when you roll the saves)
Mixed saves: Allocate Wound, LOS or not, roll saves, roll FnP...
The key is that LOS triggers immediately on the *allocation*.
