Because they don't?

I'm not sure what kind of answer you're expecting, but they are different books by different authors and they have different balance concerns. The cost for the same units (Giants, Ogres, Trolls) are different in each book because they are different armies.

But a "nice" answer is that it makes the armies more unique. Daemons don't use marks, they use icons. Marks are for sissy mortals and the odd Daemon Prince (who's still a sissy compared to real daemons--though not a DoC DP).

A bloodletter isn't just a warrior with a khorne mark, they aren't remotely the same. Besides, regeneration > -1 to hit, Killing Blow > frenzy, 5 boobs > init, etc. Daemons already got the cool toys.

The new White Dwarf is supposed to modify the rules and bring them up to date. I'm pretty interested how it goes.

I would imagine the answer would be they are Daemon, they don't need to worship Khorne or Nurgle they are created of them, they are not gifted or marked for their allegiance and service. As for the traits of Khorne you telling me WS5 S5 I4 Killing Blow is not enough that you want frenzy too? Then add a Herald and gain hatred.

On top of that they get a 5+ ward, cause fear and are immune to psychology.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd
