If you were given the chance, what units would you use if you were making a battleforce for GW?

For one I never bought a battleforce set but it tends to be able to field a some sort of balanced and pretty fluffy list so I'm imagining:

HQ - Grand master of some sort of terminator

Troops - strike squad x 10 guys
Troops - terminators x 5
Rhino x1
Dreadnaught x1

and probably a DK just to give you something different than the SM ones which come with a land raider.

Might have a 5 man interceptor squad too just to give you some fast attack.

Taking the others into mind, itd probably be a rhino, 2 GKSS sets and a termie set. Running off the other SM forces mind, with maybe something to sub out the drop pod

Brother captain, Grand master or Ordo M in terminator armor
5x terminators with 1 psycannon 1 hammer and 3 halberds
10 GKSS with mixed weapons in a rhino
Dreadknight

Cant really see them giving a HQ in it, unless ones converted from the troops in the box like with the other battleforces, and cat see them giving too much in the way of the unique toys

Most if not all BF's have no HQ unless you convert. I'd like to see a BF for GK but I think its not needed. 5x Terms, 10x SS, and a dreadknight, or 5x Terms, 20x SS and a dreadnought.

20 SS is a bit extreme, with that you could have a unit of everything except paladins. A basic dreadnought, and maybe 15 SS are more likely, with backpacks for 10 basic PA, and 5 interceptor packs. (or 3 5 man SS, or a 10 and a 5). 2 Full squads +termies seems a little over the top for a BF, plus with GK youd only need a HQ, the others nearly all need a HQ and at least one or two extras to make them workable. plus 20x PA, 5 TDA and a dread comes at what at least 750 points base before upgrades. Whats the average points amount you normaly get with BFs?

Tyranid BF is around 400 points give or take

Battleforces don't have HQs in them (unlike in special cases like IG, Tau and 'Nids, where a HQ can be converted).

GK Battleforce would likely just be 10 PAGK a GKT squad.and a Dreadknight.

I would put in 2 strike squads, 1 teminator squad and razorback seems like a decent GK battleforce.
thats around 600ish points as many battle forces are.
