The wording in question is "when he makes an armour save of 6 in close combat he may make a single bonus attack at his basic Strength, directed at the unit that caused the wound, and made at the same initiative step."

Obviously he wouldn't get the strength bonus for his weapon, since it specifically says his basic Strength, but these do seem to be actual attacks and it seems then they can benefit from all sorts of other special stats on a melee attack, such as an AP value.

Furthermore, given it is a normal attack would it also be eligible to trigger his Onslaught special rule? ("any to wound roll of a 6 made by the Klaivex or an Incubus in his unit allows that model an immediate bonus attack")

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

The wording seems to imply that it's a backhanded slap with no weapon involved. Onslaught still works.

(I'm just writing down the rules so I don't have to read the book while I type.)

Riposte: Such is Drazhar's skill that when he makes and armour save of 6 in close combat he may make a single bonus attack at his basic strength, directed at the unit that caused the wound, and made at the same initiative step.

Onslaught: In an assault, any wound of a 6 made by the Klaivex or Incubus in his unit allows that model an immediate bonus attack. This bonus cannot generate further attacks.

I would say, by reading the rules that is is a "bonus attack" at the "basic strength" and his "basic attacks" use his special weapons that are power weapons, so the AP should transfer over to the bonus attack.

Also, I don't remember any rule saying that a bonus attack can't make more bonus attacks (Besides the onslaught rule, but that is the one being made.)
Looking at it in reverse, the Onslaught rule specifically states that it does not allow for bonus attacks from the attack whereas Riposte does not say anything about preventing bonus attacks.

As far as I can tell the bonus attack from riposte used powerweapon AP and can trigger the Onslaught special ability because it can cause a wound on a 6.

He looks even better than before.. Now that I read about him.

I would say he does, but then if he does, what is the AP value of the attack? If you used the demiklaves together, ap2 or ap3 if used as separate blades? I figure it would be the same ap as the attacks you made earlier in the combat.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

I agree with serling. Same ap as previous combat. I also agree that RAW he could get another attack off of it (cheesy though it is)

Pretre: Are repressors assault vehicles? If they are, I'm gonna need emergency pants.
n0t_u: No, but six can shoot out of it. Other than that it's a Rhino with a Heavy Flamer thrown on if I remember correctly.
Pretre: Thanks! I guess my pants are safe and clean after all.

It would work as you suggest per the FAQ update's wording:

"Decide which way the Demiklaves will be used at the beginning of each Fight sub-phase, then use the appropriate profile from those below for the duration of the sub-phase."
