Unwieldy could, IMHO, be improved by making it variable. For instance:
Power axes: Unwieldy (-1). Your axe-wielding model strikes at one less than his/her profile's I stat.
Thunder Hammer: Unwieldy (1). Always I1.

What do you guys and gals think?

I think Power Axes are fine as they are and people should just accept that if you want your Ap2 back you're going to have to bite the bullet and strike at I1.

Think it works fine as-is.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Yeah I don't see a problem, they're an inexpensive Power Fist for people who don't want to spend the extra 10 points.

The only reason I dont like it is becouse of Dantes/Asteroths fangs being riped out becouse of it

Do you ever go into a fight thinking "there's no point giving it my best, I'll get another chance later?"

There was quite an in depth discussion over whether or not their weapons are considered "unusual power weapons" actually. Personally, I think Astorath's weapon is unusual, while Dante's is not. So while Dante still gets gimped to I1, Astorath does not.

"If a Power Weapon has its own unique close combat rules, treat it as an AP3 Melee weapon with the additional rules and charachteristics in its entry" meaning its still unwealdy making it I1

Eh, that was part of the discussion as well. To me it makes no sense to still use the weapon's profile as it makes the "unusual" profile meaningless.

Either way, I'm not going to get into another discussion about it now. My friends and I have decided on our own what weapons are unusual, and what unusual means. We will continue playing that way until an FAQ can clear it up.

Where does it say it has unwieldy? It's not a Power Axe.
