The way the FAQ for Eldar Psychic powers is worded seemed odd to me. It sounds to me like you generate powers both for mastery and trading in your powers. If I traded in 4 powers and had spirit stones, I could then just take the entire discipline of divination. I see no reason why I can't choose to interpret it that way. As Grey Knight Librarians can have all 9 of their Codex Powers for 5 points each I see no real reason why I can't have 6 Discipline Powers. Especially since I would be paying nearly 100 points in Psychic Powers to do so. Which consequently would mean Eldrad could have 7 powers. Unless I missed something in Psychic Power generation, that should be right. I don't actually own a 6th ed rule book, so I need a spot check on that.

Good job on sounding sanctimonious. The question remains does Psyker Mastery stack on top of trade ins for Eldar powers? Not the dumbest question I've ever seen

The rulebook doesn't answer this, the faq does. You need to buy the powers, farseers do not get any from being mastery level this or that. On the purge hand, you can turn guide into hallucination at a fairly competitive price. This applies to all psychers of this format.

Doesn't the faq pretty clearly say you get to generate one power from the BRB for every codex power you trade in?

i.e. eldrad trades his four for four from the book,
farseer gets one for every power you bought?

stones don't enter in to how many powers to generate.

Eldrad trades in his five for four from the rulebook. AFAIK the only army that is able to have codex powers and rulebook powers on the same model is Grey K-nig-hts.

No really buy the book. This is not a substitute for owning one, you started this as a phishing expedition, read the forum rules please.
