This Saturday, August 4th we will be running the one and only Warhammer
40k Feast of Blades Tournament qualifier for North Carolina.
In case you have never heard o the FOB. Here is a little brief history.

1 Champion
Every year across America, scores of stores in dozens of states and thousands of players will compete in the annual Feast of Blades Tournament. The missions and painting requirements are all the same.
At the end of the qualifier rounds each location will send three champions to represent their store in Denver.
These Champions will then meet a few months after the qualifier to compete in an elite tournament, which can only be attended by invitation.
Here the competition is fierce and is only meet by the strength of the ale!
Like the fabled Astartes, it is considered an honor to attend the Feast finals and prove not only your personal strength as a player, but also represent your ‘Chapter,’ (
FLGS) to the rest of the Champions.
There are thousands of dollars in prize support given for the event, Prizes from previous years included A custom painted banner by Jawaballs, ‘Fellblades of renown,’ dice cubes for all finalists with the Feast logo on the “6″ position, shirts for all finalists, GF9 goodies for all finalists, Battle foam swag, Signed Black Library books, thousands of dollars in
GW swag and much much more

Start time: 12:00pm NOON
Entry Fee: $10.00 or free with purchase of $25.00 or more.
Registration: Players can register by calling (919)832-8890 and prepaying or by coming in the day of the event.
6th Edition will be used with the following modifications.
- No Warlord traits
- No Mysterious terrain
- No Archeotech Artifacts
- No Unique terrain
- Objectives will be defined in the Missions.
Points: Armies will be at 1999+1 points. This means you build a 1999 points army and you can be one point over. This is written to avoid double
FOC.
Rounds: There will be 3 rounds. Each round will be 2 hours long.
WYSWIG: All models must be WYSWIG. Conversions are allowed, but must be clear cut as to what the model represents.
Force Org: Standard

Scoring: Battle Points – 70%, Painting – 20%, Sportsmanship – 10%
Prizes: 45%-35%-20% between first overall, second overall and third overall.
