Orks.

They're green.

They're mean.

And they multiply like rabbits.

Green, Rage Filled, Killing Machine Rabbits.

What started out as 1 simple Ork: "General Ralph" (Say Hi Ralph)

"Sup?"



Spawned more Orks with Ralph leading the way.

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!"



Of course, this wasn't enough. Ralph needed more boyz. So. More boyz showed up:



Which then later lead to this (Smile fer da camera ya gits!)

You'd think that I'd have Orks out of my system by now, ya know? I do have a Dwarf Army to finish building:



And a Space Wolf army to rebuild:



But now. What started out as a "Okay, I'll just put them on their bases to get them ready after I do up a bunch of dwarfs...." became:

"gak! 'ere we go again!"



Never thought I'd use up so many shades of green & brown in such a short amount of time.

I love where this is going. Any story around the Orks? It looks like you got those boys out of a startes set. Which one? Any plans past finishing your armies?

I'm sure before it's all said and done, "General Ralph" will lead a vast Waaaaaaaaaagh! and then be called "Warboss Ralph". Every 4 Orks I work on, I refer to by their grouping & members (it helps pass the time, okay?) I had: Ralph, Randy, Rudy & Robbie. The next batch was Boris, Bono, Bubbles & Barny. The next one (this next batch) will include Carlos, Cuddles, Chico, & Calvin. Yes, I name my orks!

As for the army itself, I'll have 32 individual ones build from this 2000 (year) army box (Empire vs. Orks) (Warboss was missing & I'm not including the Chariot riders). Once these are all done, I'll start putting together modern Ork models for the rest of the army as I'll just figure these are generic Choppas and whatnot.
