New Box set, allegedly Dark Angels and Chaos Marines. No idea what it's going to be called yet.

Bunch or rumours about it in the News and Rumors section.

Something to do with hunting the Fallen, considering the occupants of the set.

Black Reach is still a great way to start an Ork army.

The rulebook would be invalid, but the models are still great and the price is still good too for how much stuff you get.

I brought it because it cheaper than buying the SM forces and the weapon templates and gives me a load of Orky stuff to get rid of which will get me some money back.

I would get the updated version if /when it was released though as it would allow me to add more guys to my army cheaply (although not from GW as they are seriously expensive for box sets and such now!!

Yeah, in fact it's better value for money than actual Ork Battleforce - even if you place no value to all those SM figures and obsolete rulebook!

Not to mention the only source to get deffcoptas for an Ork army outside of converting them.

That is incorrect.

True sorry was not a snipe at you just at GW for not making the plastic ones available so you HAVE to buy AOBR.

Yeah, fortunantly AoBR is a good way for you to scalp some extra money. Sell Deffcoptas for $10 each, boyz for $20, Nobs for $15, Warboss for $15, and you've almost paid the entire box off.

People pay those prices for AOBR? Yikes. I usually sell/buy koptas at $5/ea and I know I paid like $5 for the warboss.

Not sure who you're selling to for that much but please get me in contact with them ASAP. Around here, most people will pay $35 tops, and that's if the models are painted well or unassembled. If they look like crap, you get even less.

Remember, these are one piece models with really crap poses. That battleforce may cost more, but at least with it you've got a lot more options for posing and modeling. Not to mention bitz and gubbinz. The AOBR box only comes with one PK too, and that's on the warboss. The nobs are nearly useless except as bulletcatchers for a large nob squad
