I'm running this jet-on-legs as dreadknight instead. I threw the exhaust pipes from the dreadknight on the missile platform after cutting away the missiles to create the flamer, and mounted the gatling psilencer in the swivel under the plane.

It has some stability issues, especially from being much more front heavy than the legs can handle, so I have strengthened it with metal sticks foot-base on both feet and thigh-body on both legs.

It's also standing on a much heavier base from voodooworx than the standard MC base, which helps it out quite a bit.

It looks pretty okay, but I'm not sure how that is supposed to be a monstrous creature and fight in close combat. It looks more like a Sentinel for marines...

Agreed. It's pretty much always shot out before I get to fight melee though I'm just assuming it close combats the same way a psyfleman does. Mysteriously.

The legs make it look a little too top heavy and dumpy. I personally would have made the legs slightly longer with parts from the Defiler like in the original conversion that's doing the rounds on the net, which will go a long way to making it look better.

Over the top - just the way I like it!

Very menacing pose (Drop your weapons!), and good use of kits. If thats the MAS base I think it is, should look good if you use it over the whole army.

I like it, but I don't see how it's supposed to grapple Greater Daemons.

It also reminds me of this (War of the Monsters video game):

Same. Says a lot about our maturity...

Actually, i think it's just the first shot that gives that impression, the second makes it look a lot better.

Or vice versa :p

Very cool conversion I like it and also hate the Dreadknight.

The only actual one I've ever liked was the one that guy converted to look like a HUGE paladin.

I think it need a little more chop-chop... It looks cool but not dread knghlty... Anyway, i really dont like the dreadknight concept... I wish it was more like a knight granted with primarch like power by some strange psychic ritual, or something like that...

If my post show some BAD spelling issues, please forgive-me, english is not my natural language, and i never received formal education on it...

On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.

The way this dreadknight does cc is it flies way up in the air, and squashes its enemy by falling on it, then it humiliates whatever it was fighting by whizzing Gatling gun rounds on the opponents face...

I agree. I sort of liked it the way it was though, so I left it as is, since my chopping is lacking, so I will most likely ruin anything I try too hard on, and I needed one to play with.
That said, I have been thinking of buying the kits again to make another (maybe one with arms) where I go much more wild.

And these are awesome. I especially like the first one, but it's kitted all wrong for a dread since those weapons are all... unavailable.

Bot of them are much more advanced than just throwing two kits together though, and show some serious originality. So awesome.
