Hey everyone, we'll be running an event at Celesticon. This is going to be a different style event, with only 2 rounds, a high points limit, and an emphasis on having relaxed, fun games.

This is going to be a sort of "anti-tournament." So if the idea of using FW goodies, long, casual games that are as much about theme and fun as trying to win appeals to you, this may be the event you've been waiting for!

Looking at the "Purge the Alien" victory condition, I have a question regarding members you add to a unit like Space Wolves Wolf Guard or a Necron Royal Court. Does the point value for the added member get added to the unit they are being attached to or is it still counted as part of it's parent unit?

As an example for Necrons:

I have a 10 man Warrior squad (130 points & 2 VP's). I then want to attach 2 Destructeks, one with a Solar Pulse (35 & 55 points respectively). The total cost for this combo is 220 points and 4 VP's if you add them together. If you don't add them together then it would be 2 VP's for the warriors and 1 VP for the Crypteks (or more, depending on the cost of their parent unit).

When you add a Royal Court/Wolf Guard/etc. to a unit, they become a part of that unit and their points are added to the points cost of the unit.
