Hello Dakka!

So I've been collecting a space marine army for a little over a year now, and I use Charadon Granite as the base color for my army.

Welp, GW went and decided to change up their colors. I stocked up on as many Charadon Granite pots as I could, but I find myself running low. Stormvermin Fur is not a suitable replacement, for obvious reasons....

Does anyone know of a decent replacement for Charadon Granite? The almighty google hasn't really produced any good answers. Some people have suggested Dark Charcoal from Vallejo, and others have said that there is no real replacement. I don't necessarily need an exact match, I just need something that's close enough to not really matter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

According to the dakka paint range compatability chart, Vallejo Game Colour Heavy Charcoal should be a match

Heavy charcoal is a closer match to adeptus battlegrey. It's a dark grey color that doesn't have that shade of brown that charadon granite has. Try P3 Thornwood Green. It's much closer.

Heavy charcoal with a dash of brown would fix that...
