Hey guys. I want to use the Thunderwolf Lord Tsons bit on a 40mm base for Lelith.

I'm confident that I can trim her feet off the banner properly and perch her up on the "dead" Rubricae chest. The old lady will hopefully get a kick that I used a member of my favorite army as the basing.

Do you think it's worth a shot before I buy the Tsons bit?

What position would you have the Son's Torso bit?

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I'm thinking her leg which is normally on the banner would be atop the Rubric's chestplate.

and I was also considering having a cool eerie lightsource coming from within the empty shell

I would go for it.

If you have any extra Thousand Sons(Or some extra Space Wolves from the Wolves you put together.) bits, I would sprinkle them around the base as well. Top it off with the Snow flock you used on the wolves and that Magnus model. Make it look like she ambushed a Rubric Marine and a Space Wolf in combat.
