Been looking at starting to get back into WHFB after playing 40k for the last year and feel the need to do something else in between.
Recently dusted off my WoC that have been sitting around for ages, have a unit or two that still needs some paint.

This is what I came up with from what I have collected so far. The army is almost completely Khorne orientated. Most of which is already painted so I can't and honestly don't want to change that fact
I would like some ideas on what to add/exclude.

So these are real models, right? Will try to keep that in mind when making unit suggestions, but before we get there, two thoughts:
1. The moment you pass 2000 points, you should pick up an Exalted BSB. WoC is one of the very few living armies that can get by without one - thanks to rerolling panic, having lots of ItP, and generally winning combats like bosses - but that LD reroll becomes mandatory once you enter the Serious Business above 2k. Also, frenzy checks are going to mess your day up at some point
2. You should seriously consider taking a sorcerer (Death seems appropriate for Khorne but Fire is a better lore fit), as you will likely find your games a bit boring without any shooting or magic. Something as simple as a level 2 w/ dispel scroll (& enchanted shield), then stick him in the banner of rage unit and he's working just like a frenzied warrior

The two objectives for this man's equipment are to get him better attaks (not more), and keep him alive vs artillery. Here's my lord build, which also does the third objective (keep his points cost down):

Chaos Lord - MoK, sword of swift slaying, charmed shield, dawnstone, ironcurse icon, juggernaut = 335

6 rerolled S5 attaks, rerolled 1+ armor (drop the first artillery snipe), and 6+ ward vs artillery in case Khorne feels like smiling upon him and his knight escort. Play aggro (as you should!) and the enemy won't have too many artillery shots on him anyway before he snuggles into combat where he wants to be.

Yep, you want 18 or 24 (-1 if you take that sorcerer and nestle him amongst them). I'd keep the banner of rage, but drop the MoK as it literally does nothing in addition to it (just call the banner a super mark or something ). Also, these models have two combat weapons? Halberds are much better, but if you don't want to tear painted models apart I understand completely. Lastly, if you don't take that sorcerer, you can drop the champion to save 12 points.

Glass hammer! Silly not to take a musician, otherwise it's all down to application and dice with these boys.

Alright, this is literally the only time I'd say a knight champ is worth the points, when you've got a jugger lord to escort into combat. For now, let's say you keep him around, but that is 20 points in case you need.

Do you have a fourth ogre? Makes for a lot tastier unit if so. Also, while I'm not a fan of a standard on these guys (can you remove or replace?), you really don't need that champ, another poor use of 20 points.

*shrug* I like spawn, but this guy looks like 55 points ready to be bundled into a sorcerer.

Haha I love khornate giants, such an expensive naked model but oh so classy! That said, this guy is going to die continually and endlessly, though he should be pretty entertaining when he is allowed to roll his attaks (and his S7 t-stomp ) If your model is awesome and you don't mind having him removed without earning any points in 7 of 10 games, I say keep him - if nothing else he'll draw cannons away from the jugger lord. If you're looking for competitiveness, I'd much rather this guy became another chariot and that sorcerer.

Stuffed that sorcerer in, to get frenzied up and stomp the yard with the warriors (whether they have ahw or halberds). Loads more marauders (no chieftain) and another ogre (no champ or standard), but the big cut was the glass cannon marauder cav, which are pretty expensive for 5 T3 wounds (vs the giant's expensive 6 T5 ones ). Lots of mayhem here with all these frenzied fast monstrous things!

All the models listed I have, most of which are painted.
Unfortunately the 12 warriors and all painted up with ehw's.

I'm actually starting to get the urge to paint some Nurgle units too. Do you think this would be workable into the list?
I really like the idea of a Nurgle Sorcerer. I haven't actually painted the Knights yet...how do you think a Mounted sorcerer would go running with some MoN Knights?
The sorcerer would come in at 181 pts with a Steed.

I do also have 4 painted ogres so running all 4 isn't an issue.

Yeah they are Ogre kingdom Bulls. But imo look so much better than the current chaos ogres (Which I think look completely ridiculous)

Glad you like the idea of a Giant too
