Helping a friend with Skorne, and he wants to make a "Brutal Assassination" list with Naaresh.

So if we have Naaresh casting Cyclone (full advance, in this case 6") and Rush (+2 move&path) on himself... And of course then he would charge.
Is the calculation Rush+Cyclone +Charge9"+2" ? I am guessing that the movement bonus would only be on the charge? Cause a 19.5" threat range sounds OP.

Also, the 2" movement is added to the model's overall movement.

So warbeast SPD 4 +3" charge +2" rush.

Ignoring the warbeast only restriction, I think that +2 mov only adds to a model's normal movement. A cyclone advance is not part of this. +2 SPD would add to the cyclone advance though.

Oh that's the question. yastobaal has it.

Adding to movement means it does not help any additional movement type actions (Sprint, Refuge, etc.)

Adding to SPD means it does add to the movement.

You can use the Tyrant Commander's Press Forward to give Naaresh +2 SPD when making a full advance.

So you can get Press Forward and: cyclone 8" then advance 8"
Or: advance 8" and cyclone 8"
Or: charge in a straight line 9" and cyclone 8" (no bonus speed on charge since you are not making a full advance)
Or: cyclone 8" and charge in a straight line 9"

Ah excellent! This is the thing we were thinking about, lots of love!
