First battlereport of my Skaven Clan Skulk. Incredibly luck that I had, and my opponent kept rolling bad, but he remained sporting. Kudos to him.

The first turn the Chaos forces advanced. I heldmy Skaven back, moving them 3 to 4 inch, to give me more time to shoot 'em.
My plagueclaw catapult fired at the warriors, but scattered and didn't hit anything. The poisoned wind mortar aimed at the Horsemen, but scattered too, but only a small distance, killing one of them. In the magic fase, the Warlock Engineer, Trikk, used scorch on the Warriors, but only managed to kill one. He then used warp lightning at the horsemen, killing two. I was hoping to get a gap in the lines there, so I could flankcharge his Knights.

Chieftain Skrish Gnawteeth slowly ordered his advance, holding his forces back to shoot the dumb man-things. He was hoping to get a gap in their lines to sned the plague censer bearers in, so the frenzied monks could slaughter all in their path. Lord Gristleclaw had clearly not given him the best shooters he had at his disposal, as the weapons did not do any major damage. Skritch sended forward his rat ogres and their Master Moulder, Greel Boiltail. He would have words with the crew of the catapult later.

The 2nd turn the rat ogres charged the warhounds, killing 3 of them, but the beasts remained in their combat. The Plague Monks charged the other warhounds, killing all of them, but not without losing one of their numbers.
The Warlock Engineer, who had not moved, aimed his Warpmusket at the Exalte Hero, but failed to wound. As a solution, he proudly zapped him to death with warp lightning. The Marauder Horsemen charged, their chieftain declaring a challenge wich Trikk, in his arrogance, accepted. The clanrats overrun the lone banner bearer, but Trikk failed to wound the Chieftain, suffering a wound himself.

As his army marched to battle, Skritch looked forward him. The Man-things riding on horses of steel approached him. Grabbing his trusted halberd, he prepared for battle.
Trikk, now enraged, killed the chieftain, feeling glorious about his victory. The Rat Ogres killed the warhounds, as did the Plague Monks to the warhounds they were fighting. As the remaining 4 Chaos Knights charged, ready for carnage, they got surprised by the speed of the ratmen, and one of them fell lifeless on the ground. They started hacking in on the Skaven, but all of them managed to pass their 5+ armor save. The next round of combat, the Knights were no more.

Turn 4

Turn 4 marked the methodical slaughter of the remaining forces of Chaos. The Rat Ogres charged the Chosen Warriors, and the Plaguemonks started fighting the warriors of Khorne, while the clanrats led by Skretch prepared for flankcharging the same warriors the monks were fighting. Trikk and his unit of clanrats followed the Rat Ogres, ready to charge the Chosen if the giant Skaven would fail. However, they managed to get lucky and wiped out all remaining Chosen. The Plaguemonks were busy killing and geting killed, as they managed to kill 3 warriors, but suffered 5 losses themselves.

Turn 5

In the only remaining combat, the plaguemonks continued fighting the warriors, now supported by the clanrats of Skretch. 3 Warriors were cut down, but as the Khornates managed to kill 4 other plaguemonks, they fled. In the following round of combat, the clanrats killed another warrior of chaos, and the Warriors fled.

Man your title confused me. "Really? Bunch of skaven vs like... a marauder and his dog? And it went 5 turns?"

Anyway congrats on the victory! Glory to the Underempire!

Maybe 2 vs. 1 Battle? If you both come along Monday, and she would like that too, we could do that

Is it just me or was that battlefield a bit light on scenery?
Open terrain favours the shooters, and WoC are not well endowed in that department.
