Any local tournments at GW's or other gaming clubs/stores in the title?

Im not aware of any tournaments at the GW's, but i know someone has started a club in southampton (ive not had the chance to go yet).

Its abit further out for you, but a couple of clubs in bournemouth and christchurch.

There is also a club in Aldershot which runs tournaments relatively often, but it is an hour away from Portsmouth so probably around a good two hours away from you.

In Portsmouth there is a GW store but it,s hard to get a game there due to the staff always trying to hock you stuff.

Then in Havant there is this place, the Bunker Games and Comics https://www.facebook.com/TheBunkerComicsAndGames. This is my battle field every Wednesday.
This place has abit of a drop in games night, most of the time you'll find some one to play, more so if its 40k as I and the owner of the store tend to play 2000pts battle when only the MtG players come in. A good place with friendly staff (even if the owner does use a 30 TDA list with Lysander, I will beat him one day...one day )

I used to run a wargaming club in Lymington--but back in 1976-79....

If your up for a 30min drive from the ferry at Southampton there is an X Legion tournament (40k) every few months through out the year at Landford on the Hampsire/Wiltshire boarder.

I'm currently waiting for word on the 2013 dates at the moment, I believe the first will be in March.

The events are fantastic and everybody is really friendly.

got GK and SW and a floor space with some home made terain. cant find gamers here either lol. hard times...

You have Gosport gaming club. if you get the portsmouth cat, then a quick 3 min jump on the gosport ferry. always games on every saterday. just go to the face book group and ask if anyone wants a game.
