Subject: my Warsaw Uprising project for Flames of War
Ok guys, so I started working on my Warsaw Uprising project (finally!). Funnily enough, completely accidentally I made first base yesterday, exactly on 68th anniversary of uprising.
Now making some bases to be cast in resin later on.

Automatically Appended Next Post: Ok guys, since I have some time these days (not for long!) I'm getting more work done. Next in line are Pak40 and Kedyw SMG team with panzerfaust. Hope you like it More stuff getting ready, waiting for polyfiller to dry up on some bases to start working on next Pak40 team and sniper.
10 out of 10 on the Modelling front, they are really nice. I am really looking forward to the force completed and seeing how it all comes together.

Nice! Just a quick tip. Have a Polish flag draped over the the table, the Gun, and any vehicles you might use. Just for that added polish nationalism effect.

Makarov, there will be some Polish flags for sure, also want to do unit of 104th Polish Syndycalist company that was using red/black banners instead of Polish flag, just for the added variety and as a tribute to those forgotten fighters (their presence was quite uncomfortable for both communist and right-wing historians, so they are very often shrouded in silence despite taking significant part in the Uprising).
They are looking great wardancer. Really nice work. Love the mixture of models, cobblestone roads and general destruction or infrastructure on the bases.

first AK rifle team done plus one HMG team as well. HMG team has Russian HGM gunner from PSC with a metal head swap (he has a classic Polish army rogatywka cap), crouching guy is BF and guy shooting the rifle is Peter Pig.
Last two weeks had been pretty busy for me, but I still managed to do a little bit of work on my Warsaw Uprising project. First of all I made a new base with tram track on it, which after I cast some copies of it will provide good urban feel to my troops and each base can have stuff added to it, making them look different from each other.
I made another Kedyw panzerfaust SMG team, 5 PIAT teams, command SMG team with panzerfaust and a sniper team (that will have more bits added to the base once it's painted).
Next thing will be probably casting more bases and putting some guys on them to complete my AK and Kedyw units.
Still fair bit of models I need to get, but whole project begins to slowly take shape.
Ok, another batch of miniatures done. Started painting my sniper team (as I want to add more scenery then and it would make it very difficult to paint afterwards). Base on the picture is obviously still WIP. Got some BF rubble bases and I have to say I am not that impressed. They require a lot of filling, greenstuffing gaps etc. (you can see it on the picture). They are not bad though and also all the little extra bits on the sprue are great and I already copied some of them with instant mould to add to my other bases. And yes, still didn't cast mine, but it will happen and they will also be available for sale.
So I got another Kedwy SMG panzerfaust team, one AK rifle team and smg panzerfaust CO team. Hope you like them.
Brilliant stuff, I'm sure the BF bases will look as good as the rest once you've painted them up, but the gaps look fine on the photos anyway. I'm progressing with 15mm '44 Warsaw area SS division too so I'll have to post some photos, shame we can't get a game going once they're both finished!

ok, finally another update. I had been busy with RealLifeTM and other gaming projects, but finished painting my first sniper team and started on captured Panzer IV (which is still WIP- I will be adding things to it I am aware I am not a great painter, but I hope models are passable
