with a DakkaJet if you take Fighta Ace to upgrade BS to 3 and fly against infantry to get the Straffing Run +1 to BS...

are you now shooting all infantry, vehicles, etc etc. on BS 4 ?

Might want to reread fighta ace. Strafing run gives you the bonus to bs against I believe all but 3 unit types and then fighta ace increases your BS against 2 of the 3 excluded types.

No fighta ace only works on things strafing run doesn't have any effect on.

No, the Strafing Run upgrades your BS against different types of targets than Fighta Ace does.
