Hey everyone,

Just posted a new YouTube tutorial. In this 8-minute video, I demonstrate using the "hairspray weathering technique" to achieve realistic looking scratches and battle damage. I also demonstrate painting the blues and whites on this Cygnar Stormwall.

My channel: SchnauzerFaceMinis on YouTube
This video: Painting Warmachine & Hordes: Cygnar Stormwall and Hairspray Weathering Technique

And the finished model looks like this:

Thanks a bunch for watching! I appreciate you guys taking time out of your day to watch my videos.

Really cool video. Just discovered your vids, some great work in there.

Keep it up.

How do you make your bases, they look great and individual.

When you can't see the drunk guy at a party, you should look for the nearest mirror.

Awesome tutorial!

I just have a quick question,

how are you running the pigments through your airbrush? Just mixing it with paint?

Yep, I add a little to the paint (and, of course, more thinner than usual). I also used just straight water and pigment, too. Works great, but be sure to thin it thoroughly -- it'll gunk up your airbrush if the pigments aren't thoroughly dissolved into the water.

Thanks for watching!

Very useful tutorial! Been using the hairspray technique for a while, but your method of scraping away the chips works loads better than mine!

yeah I heard about this method for years (used to do armor) but never really understood until now. Nice job, I like your method for rust streaks as well!
