But what i want to do is only run heavy warbeast or heavy warjacks is this possible and what armies are best for this?

It is certainly possible to take your warlock/warcaster and only heavies, but I wouldn't advise it. Every faction has at least one caster that likes an above-average number of heavies, but they almost never do so to the point of excluding support pieces. Are you willing to add in just a few infantry models for support? Sometimes a half dozen backline buffers can make a world of difference.
Most any hordes army can run with mostly heavies with the right caster. Trolls might have the most narrow pool of casters to work with. Warmachine has a trickier time spamming jacks than hordes does spamming beasts, but the protectorate of menoth has such good jack support that they can pull it off. The other factions are going to be confined to one or two casters and still need a little infantry backup to balance things.

Khador seems like a good choice, but go with the models and fluff you like for army choice and then find the caster from that range to suit your playstyle.

it can be done, but your options are extremely limited. Warmachine factions tend to be based around a combined arms approach, with a caster, 1-2 jacks, a squad or two, support pieces and solos. "jackmachine" is not an extremely viable strategy - some casters can do it well - cryx's mortenebra, cygnar's darius, khadors Karchev etc but even then, they're best off with some infantry and support pieces in the wings.

Hordes factions tend to be more focused on the battlegroup, with more limited infantry support/support pieces (kinda the opposite dynamic to what you'll see in a WM army). generally, you're talking about a caster, 3-4 beasts, backed up by some infantry, and support pieces. its necessary, due to the nature of Fury - its generally accepted that Hordes warlocks need to run more beasts than warmachines warcasters need warjacks. Even then though, for example Kromac or Kaya could run with a werewolf themed army (ghetorix, stalker, pureblood, feral( 35pts roughly) but it will suffer severe match you issues and it will leave you with limited tools at your disposal. Plus, even though it could be done, you're still better off investing in some of those support units to back up and bolster your heavies.

So yes, it can be done, but its not the best way to play the game.

When I started playing, I want to do the same thing. I soon found out that it would be too hard for a beginner like myself. I then started looking into the Legion of Everblight. They have what are called lesser warbeasts that only cost two points and are effective. You can use them to lure you opponent toward your heavies for the kill. I am currently using Evayl because of her high Fury and her teir list is built for lots of beasts. I am using 2-3 heavies every fight with a few tiny beasts and a solo. Its working out well and I am not having that many issues when dealing with other armies. If I do choose to use the Spawning Vessel, I can even get a discount on my heavy beasts with the tier list. This sounds like exactly what you're looking for.

Honestly, there are many warlocks/warcasters that operate with 2 heavys standard, and 3-4 is plenty competitive. Most armies have a caster or 2 that favor high numbers of heavies.

Cygnar: 2 heavys standard. I dont think they ever go much higher
Khador: 2 standard. Karchev can use much more, but you'll be using Berserkers (cheap, dangerous, prone to exploding if you push them)
Cryx: rarely more then 1-2, except when using Mortenebrah, which can go up to 5-6
Menoth: 2-3 standard. very good jack support +very cost effective heavies. rarely more then 3
Mercs: 2 standard across the board

Minions: gators dont use too many heavies, but thornfall will use 3 standard, sometimes more
Skorne: 2 standard, with almost any warlocks able to go 3 or 4 due to having great warbeast support and a few locks that specialize in heavies
Circle: 2 standard, with half their warlocks favoring 3, and a couple able to run 4-5
Trolls: 2 standard, not sure about anything beyond that
Everblight: 2 standard, with 3 pretty common, and 4 doable by some casters.

When i say 'standard', that is to say it is common and accepted practice. You dont have to run these numbers, but you are not gimping yourself. Any factions that 'can' run more then what their standard is wont be sacrificing any power on the table, but will be looking at fewer options because of the requirements multiple heavies bring (IE: units that directly synergize/support heavies, specific warlocks, and shuffling infantry units because your heavies are playing that role). So definitely still competitive.

Now you just need to research some lists, look up http://battlecollege.wikispaces.com to read up on casters and see what you like. Can probably make a list of what casters prefer 3+ heavies

Generally, Hordes tends to favour beast-heavy armies more so than Warmachine (so ironically, Hordes armies tend to have a lower model count). The focus mechanic tends to limit how many warjacks can run effectively, so for "jack casters", you might be a bit limited. In general, look for warjacks that can support themselves, and spells that give a buff to everything in a battlegroup, like Signs & Portents, Escor or Full Throttle.

Hordes does it easier, however. I'd say Legion of Everblight is the most suited to an all-beast army (with a couple of solos to help manage Fury). A lot of their warlocks benefit beasts more than infantry; one of the wackiest and most effective builds I've heard of is epic Thagrosh and a pile of Shredders which his feat and spells turn into little death machines. Vayl, Absylonia and Saeryn are also top-notch beast warlocks.

Circle would be a close second (Shifting Stones need some foreplanning, but can be great tools for healing and draining Fury from beasts), with p-Baldur, e-Kaya, and Kromac being the best for a beast horde.

Also, among the Minions that Hordes factions can hire are Lesser Warlocks, solos who come with a heavy warbeast that's independant from what your warlock controls (and two of them can buy additional minion beasts for their battlegroup as well as the one they come with), which help you with issues of board control that come from everything needing to stick in your control area.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich."

The Merc 'caster Magnus the Traitor is quite good at going 'jack heavy, especially with his Resourceful ability that allows him to upkeep spells for free, his Iron Aggression spell that makes 'jacks super focus efficient and his Tier list benefit that allows upkeep spells on his 'jacks before the game even starts.

Typically run 2 lights and 2 heavies with him.

I'll throw in another voice for Legion of Everblight. Several warlocks can run a lot of beasts and it has 2 solos that help manage fury pretty easily.

Plus a lot of Legion has Eyeless Sight and Pathfinder so you are ignoring several rules right away. Always nice for the new player.

You're going to have a tough time fielding a good army without using any solos, units, lights & lessers. Even Legion of Everblight probably the faction best at running lots of their Big Things needs solos for fury management. It's just not really viable to only put down 'Jacks/Beats and NOTHING else outside of a Mangled-Metal type scenario.

If you are only going to play casual this can be done. The problem is that you will be running such a slant list you will either win big or lose big.

Each faction has thier "Jack/Beast" casters so I would just go with what appeals the most to you asthetically.

Khador
Karchev, super boring super fast.
Hamavich Brodside is a trap on Khador, I would run Ivan as my only range Jack and go with solid Melee

Cryx
Mortinebra tier list

cygnar
skip

Menoth
The choir lets you play more jacks than usual so most casters will use jacks very well.

Ret
skip

Mercs
Ashlynn can get grazy amounts of crits with her feat. The dwarfs are pretty good but you will be lacking threat range.

Trolls
Dr Doomshaper epic

Skorne ????

Legion My main faction

Searyn runs alot of beast with almost no infantry but you will need key solos to make your list hum, Shepherds, Spell martyrs, and Forsaken. Her problem is that she kinda spoils you for the rest of the faction.

Absylonia has a very good tier list you can run about 95% beast. This list loses some punch as you scale up in points.

Circle
Epic Kaya hit and run. She lacks staying power for holding zones or objectives

Gators

Need to be filled out more as a faction.
