Hello hello, I've had a long time of thinking what legion I could take as my CSM legion and I was stuck between Death Guard and Word Bearers. So what to do? I combined thei doctrines and used the grey of the DG pre heresy and the silver metal from the WB post heresy as a colour scheme. I called them "The Unforgiving". I'm finished with my Lord and I'm pretty proud of him What do you think? Have you ideas for the fluff? I want to hear everything!

i love the look of that!!!! he looks more word bearer leaning. i love the wings as well!!

im thinking that maybe he was word bearer champion of Nurgle, joining with a death gaurd lord.

Yes they will actually look like WB but will be painted in a more Death Guard-ish style. Glad you like it^^ . If you want to know what the wings are: These are the backbone spikes from the Dark Eldar Talos Pain Machine.

That is awesome! It is one of the most unique models I have seen. What did you use for the end of his staff? I am currently working on some Word Bearers and that would be perfect for my Dark Apostle.

Thanks for your kind words. The staff is composed of the grey knight Psi STave from the Terminator/Paladin sprue. The mace head is a One handed mace from the chaos knights sprue.

Well the model is certainly cool enough, but I'm not sure about Grey and silver trim. It might just be the pictures, but I'm not sure it pops out enough for my taste. Just a niggle, otherwise it's superb, and I'm guessing (as with most things like this) that it looks better IRL in regards to contrast.

I'll round it off with this Good show sir. Very good.

Yes I thought long about that one but I found a solution. Through adding a bit rust OR shading it with a 3:1 mix of Nuln Oil : Reikland Flesh, it gets a warm but dirty tint.
