My plan is to assault with the tactical squads, Vulkan, and the Predator. I will use the scout squad to camp back objectives and provide support and the Stormtalon and my converted bikers to strike enemy hard points and support the main charge. I'm also considering a drop-pod MM/HF dread or devastators. When I get to 1500 I want to include Tau allies, and at 2000 a Redeemer with Assault Terminators.

Personally I would always take the Typhoon missile launcher on a storm talon rather than the skyhammer missiles if you can, str8 Ap3 is insta killing alot more then str7 ap4 even with he extra shot

I'm pretty sure the only weapon options on the Stormtalon are TL Lascannon, TL Heavy Bolter or Skyhammer Missles.

Stormtalons can take typhoon missile launchers for the same price as skyhammer missiles.

Your list is all over the place. Nothing seems to be really working together.

If you must have Vulkan at these points I would go drop pod and attack bikes.

Or bring 3 stormtalons, they blow over in a stiff breeze, but together they will be hardy.

Else you could bring a pred or razorback gunline. Hide behind an ADL.

Or if you want bikers, go for a biker army.

Anyway four different effective lists smashed into, in particular losing all synergy and any effective antiflyer threat.

Vulkan does seem expensive at this point scale.

You might want to replace him with a more bare-bones HQ pick, and use the points to get a razorback for the second Tac squad. Break off half of them as an escort, and roll out and take an objective. Leave the Heavy weapon at home (replace the MM with a ML)
