the rules state that halberds are power axes. so would Grey Knights with halberds strike at initiative 1 and not get the +2 modifier because it is unwieldy . Because they are special weapons do they follow this rule? The rules for this are somewhere around the power weapon rules. everyone i play with says they still hit at initiative 6, but i was thinking the strike at initiative 1.

these are the rules governing Nemesis Force Halberds.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Upgrading to halberds would be a lot less useful if they were unwieldy. Fortunately as pointed out above they (and similarly almost all other grey knight CCWs) count as unusual power weapons by virtue of having the nemesis rule.

Actually it would be awsome if they were FAQ'd to be Axes, and strike at I3.

That way GK halberds would give them a way to counter 2+ saves without hammers.

As it is, they are just +2I and AP3. No str bonus or AP2.

Except if they were plain ol' force axes, they'd strike at I1 anyway

If they did that they would also FAQ it to apply the +2I to it as well. So it would be I3, Str+1, and AP2.
