I don't like green either. Most of my nurgle marines are painted up to look like pre heresy Death Guards.

Just a little something in between plaguebearers; worked up the long sections of my aegis defense line.
I tried adding enough chaos iconography and spoils of war without making it look over the top.
Just need to touch up a few details like the stitching on the leather rags etc..

That being said, I love the work so far, the new Nurble models are absolutely gorgeous. I love the addition of Nurglings to the Terrain. I hope to see more of that.

I've been building a chaos lord on bike for a new list I'll be fielding somewhere september.
It had been a blast just adding and matching bits to form a massive engine of death and dismay.

I added a picture of the model on a base to give some perspective to it's size. Mean, green killing machine, isn't it?

Let me introduce you to my other HQ:



I love this model! It embodies the filthy Nurgle nature. What I didn't like was the hand weapon and the two fly icons(on his belly and arm)
So I got busy and built a massive chain axe with an actual saw blade, plasticard, bits and pieces of scrap.

The left arm went under the knife and the massive, cartoon'ish fly ade place for a bionic implant that could for instance be a Burning Brand.
I used a mix of lead weight balls in various sizes, sand and liquid G to make a boiling mass of coroding ooze.



The chain axe in close up. It measures 2"2 from top to bottom.


Lately I've been working on painting this big boy, this is what I've done on the paint job so far. I wanted to bring forth the pre heresy colors, as I don't like the idea that Nurgle units should be all greens. Pre heresy lover! <3

I Like the colors. Nice conversion as well, I don't like the original much either.

I got my hands on some of those old raptor backbacks and thought it a great idea to use 'em as windshield for nurgle bikers.
