Lords of change have "unparalleled psychic abilites"

Daemons: no psychic abilities...............................................................................dotdotdotdotdotdotdot

Bad codex design? They used to have powers when they were in the CSM 'dex.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it.

Yeah some parts of the daemon codex weren't written that well. I think it's because it is still a 4th edition codex

Daemonic psychic powers are basically just an extension of the daemon, because they are creatures of psychic power to begin with. In truth, "daemonic psychic power" is really a misnomer.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Its fluff really.

Alot of the Daemonic powers in the book are, fluffwise, psychic in nature but the added benifit of being a daemon is that you don't have the danger factor. You just do it.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Just think of it this way, Daemonic psykers are so powerful that they automatically pass psychic tests and their abilities cannot ever be stopped by abilities that normally block psychic abilities.

Change and change until Change is our master, for nothing neither God nor mortal can hold that which has no form. Change is the constant that cannot be changed.

No game of chess can be won without pawns, and this may prove to be a very long game.

They do have psychic abilities, they simply don't need to make a test because it is so simple for them and they can't suffer from perils of the warp. When he turns a guy into a chaos spawn it is a psychic power, when you use gaze of chaos or breath of chaos you are using psychic powers. You simply don't need to make a test because daemons can't suffer from perils of the warp.

In fluff, all Daemons are innately psychic begins. A Culexus assassin for instance is basically invisible to Daemons. They're made of psychic energy.

Stuff that certain Daemons do, like the basic attack of Pink Horrors, is basically a psychic ability (probably offensive biomancy).

Actually, a culexis assassin wouldn't be invisible so much as they would be a walking black hole that destroys the daemon by getting near it.

Frankly, I find the idea of a daemon that thinks offensive!

I always pictured Culexus Assassins as more like an Eldritch abomination when looked at by a psyker or daemon, something that they literally cannot perceive.

Fluff wise anyone who tried to use a pysker power anywhere near a deamon would immediately die with no saves of any kind allowed.
Got to be some balance

That's most assuredly not true.
