So i've played one game with the 2000 point list, I was planning on playing 1750 but my opponent wanted 2000 so I just added to my list with models I had.

1750:

Swarmlord 280
Tervigon (Catalyst)

Hive Guard x2

Genestealers x13 (Toxins, inc broodlord)
15 (I think) Hormagants (Toxins)

my 2000 point added:
15 x Dev Gants (make HQ Tervigon troop)
CC on each Tervigon
3 Genestealers
ST on Broodlord (was 2/3 points under on 1750 list. These additions are 252 points I think).

So I won a game with the 2000 point version, had fun playing it. Swarmlord was great. Dev gants wern't, think they need Spore to be effective as anyone who knows what they do, know they are easy to kill, so will try and take at least a few out to limit their damage. Basic idea is to keep the army close together, 5 MCs and 6 T6 models aren't easy to take down, add in plenty of Stealers and Hormagants and you have a little swarm element as well.

I'm not really coming round to the Devilgaunts myself either. They really just cost too much for what they do, especially if you're podding them in. I mean, 15 Devs in a pod is like 190 points...you could get a lot for that. I don't know what you've got, but I would replace them with another unit of Gaunts to get that Tervigon into troops, and you'd still have like a hundred points to buff up some other units.
