Every mortar section I can select comes with a Obs Rifle Team... this is great for dropping bombardments etc...

However in the FJ HQ section can add 3 mortars for 75pts.

They DO NOT come with an Obs team.

1. Can I attach them to a regular Mortar team with the same mortars and use them all together?

2. Can I use another mortar teams Obs Rifles Team to bombard if the chance existed if I didnt attach them; and allow the other mortar team to direct fire?

3. Can 2 seperate Mortar teams use the same obs rifle to do a mass bombardment?

4. Can 2 seperate Mortar teams use the same obs rifle to do 2 seperate bombardments?

Thanks in advance!

1. Yes

2. No

3. No

4, No

What normally happens with HQ mortars is thet they stay as their own platoon with the 2ic acting as their command team/observer.

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Option one is probably the best to go with.

I disagree as HQ mortars give you an extra smoke template which is a lot more useful than (possibly) making a mortar bombardment slightly better.

The nice thing about Fj mortars is that thier slot typically allows you to kg the unit and then add an HQ tube to each one, giving two 3 tube units each with an observer.

If I ever make a FJ list I will be sure to remember that
