I was just wondering if anyone knows if either of the army painter yellow primers match any of the yellow paints in the gw range if emailed army painter but had no reply yet.
Thanks

I'm not sure if they do, but they have a color match for the army painter paints.

I use the AP grey and silver primers and use the color match paints for them, they have been fantastic

I have a friend who's doing Imperial Fists. He thought it was best to prime white and apply 2 layers of watered down foundation yellow.

I've had bad experiences with the army painter sprays.1

there is a new range of acrylics they do which match the colour primers.

I've been very happy with the army painter sprays. They can be a bit fickle though, high heat or high humidity is not their friend at all. However they cover well and a can lasts me about 4x as long as the GW stuff did. So far they have been my favorite replacement for the ludicrously priced GW stuff (and yes they are merely expensive in comparison) I haven't been able to bring myself to try a $1 can from Walmart but I have trust issues.

I have used several cans of army painter. I found the coverage to be good, the major downsides being a limited array of colors available, and a danger of obscuring detail. I used Daemonic Yellow on some tactical terminators that had been lightly primed black, and while the color coverage was good, the detail on the eagle icons on their chest plates was destroyed in some cases.

EDIT: And as far as I know their yellows do not directly correspond to GW or any other range I know. I wish they did, as I do not really know how to touch up Daemonic Yellow without using more spray paint.

see my post above about using their own acrylic range which do match.
