Just wondering if you can issue 'fire on my target!' order to a squad or IC that is firing the Aegis line's Quad Gun? Would be quite handy in certain situations.

Yes, the models manning the gun are the ones firing, not the gun itself.

Seconded. You fire it as if it was your equipped gun.
