I just got the first 4 miniatures from the Norsgard line
http://www.norsgard.com/news/august-releases.html
Some of the sculptors (sculptor?) is the same as the Confrontation line so you may see the same flavor going on.
The 2 Orcs currently out (Order of the Ram) are in Resin (limited run). These Orcs are a bit more nobel rather than your typical savage, beastly orcs.
There is really no prep work on these 2 minis except a little mold line on some of the minis. .
The temple brother Orc comes with a number of cards and weapons (each card having a different stat for the different weapon options) Spear, Hammer and sword along with a shield.
There are only 2 Orcs in this line so it is hard to compare consistency, but the Temple Brother seems to be a bit undersized compare to the Ysil Guard, I'm not sure if that is because of the 2 different sculptors or is it is just a common foot soldier is just undersized compared to a ranking officer (Much like the Mantic Games' Orc Warlord compared to the rest of the Orc line).
[/spoiler]
I also have the 2 temple of storms minis (white metal) which are very petite and have tiny bits, going to see if I can find a way to pin the small bits as I can see the tiny little arms breaking off if dropped on the ground.
Temple of Storms minis are nicely sculpted, great detail on their "bikini armor" and "shin pads" and nice poses.
I have 3 complaints about these minis
-too many tiny bits which could be prone to breaking if dropped.
-Although I love my share of "Bikini Armor" on female miniatures, I hope it does not become the standard for female figures. Always saw "Bikini Armor" on minis as more of a pin up girl type of thing rather than a warrior going to battle. I could see a few here and there is they are a race/faction that does not utilized body armor as a whole.
-Perhaps it is just me, but the wings seem rather undersized on the Oracle of Storms.
