The Peripheral

For a long time now, I've been imaging building a kick ass crawler version of the Hydra anti aircraft platform, but have been hesitant because I'd like to play with it in games. However, its base would not offer the same screening protection to troops, nor could i truly justify ramming anything with it and therefore be at a significant disadvantage. To counter this, would it be a good idea to possibly give the crawler the Walker special rule (with no close combat attacks) and Move Through Terrain, symbolizing that the platform can crawl up walls, wrap its limbs against structures, and perch in cover to get a better position to bring down aircraft?

Sounds sensible to me. It just sounds a bit more vulnerable (realistically speaking). What I mean is if you think about it, the hydra has found that perfect position for firing at incoming aircraft. Some sneaky little... something from the enemy side manages to get close enough and manages to pull off a shot that cripples one of the legs. The whole thing would propably lose it's balance and fall down. Other than that a cool idea though and workable on the tabletop I think.

I shall rule the world someday utilizing my cuteness. And I already have one minion to help me do it!

Of course it makes sense. When there are a bunch of BDSM clowns doing Olympic gymnast routines throughout your unit, while also cutting off heads, you tend to get a bit distracted.
