with the 6th edition rules for dreadnought close combat weapons does that mean that all of theNemesis Dreadknight's attacks are all str 10 now?

Any attacks with their Doom fists, yes. Hammer of Wrath hits and attacks made by a Greatsword are still S6.

Redemption,

Are you sure, because the Greatsword reads:

A model with a Nemesis Greatsword re-rolls failed To Hit,
To Wound and armour Penetration rolls in close combat.

He gets to use his Doomfist, and since you bought the sword, should be able to reap the benefits.

At least, that’s how I read it.

It's a rules loophole, the sword says model equipped with greatsword gains X,Y,Z abilities. When you attack you choose to use the Doomfist wich inherits the abilities brought by the sword. If it was used against me like that. I would completely allow it. It's RAW and if your willing to pay all those points for 1 model go for it bro.

I need to return some video tapes.

Huh.. checked the GK FAQ and it's not there. I could have sworn it was in 5th and the answer was "No" as the Dreadknight is not a Walker...

Otherwise; what's the point of the Hammer?

the hammer is still has the rules of a thunder hammer so it is Concussive, which the doom fists are not.

This was true in 5e. In 6e howere, DCCW have no restrictions on their use.
Point of the hammer is that it costs you points, removes 1 attack from you for the "huge" advantage of Concussive USR.
In other words: Pretty much none.

It's up for discussion. Weapons normally only confer their benefits when actively used. For a similar case, check the Daemonblade from the same codex, which can also confer passive benefits, but were FAQed to only confer them when actively used. I suspect the Greatsword will be FAQed the same eventually. Until then, just run it by your opponent when you play a game with it.

It was removed, as the DCCW rule no longer require a walker for the strength benefit. And yeah, the Daemon Hammer is pretty much a downgrade now, as you pay points to lose an attack and gain Concussive. But it's not the first time a new edition made a wargear option useless.
