So I just won 20 Mantic Games Abyssal Dwarf Black Souls and I have only ever played 40k so I have no clue what to equip my dwarfs to make them game legal (I might expand on the force one day). I assume that they are used in WFB in some sort of chaos possessed dwarf army so tell me, what should I equip them with that will make them effective to use in game? (shields, weapons, standards etc.)

Heres a link to what I won:

Cheers

I'm from the future. The future of space

Use all the metal weapons that can be held in two hands. Make a standard bearer and a musician. Make sure to use all the metal upgrade parts as they are the Abyssal bitz. I'm not super familiar with the kit myself. You could try posting in the Mantic sub forum if you need more help.

And btw, Warpath is a better choice for rules sets than WFB, so consider giving that a go. It's free on Mantic's website.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.
