Hi all. I am looking to create my own guard vehicals and was wondering what the best looking scale is. I would like the vehicals to look like they could carry the men they are supposed to etc and because I don't like the existing models. Any pics would be most welcome.

Varies; remember GW's scale is rather fluid and deformed deliberately for tabletop gaming, rather than precision modelmaking. Generally I'd suggest 1/35 ( 54mm - big and chunky comparitavely, way too tall for doorways etc) or 1/48 (tall and slender).
GW's scale is somewhere between the two; around 1/48 for the purposes of height, but closer to 1/35 for hand held accessories.
I used 1/48 (1/4" scale) doll's house furniture on my titan diorama. Had to cut the table and chair legs shorter to get them to look right next to the Guardsmen.

Thx. I'm kinda leaning toward 1/35th. And making my own doorways and hatches etc. I think the bigger size will give a good look and feel to the vehicsls.
Excelant Tiitan diarama btw.

To expand on winterdyne's response, I'll direct you to Dakka's (oft neglected) articles section, where this topic has been covered.
