They haven't been dullcoated/varnished, so they're shiny. My process on my entire World Eaters army was: Scab red -> red gore -> blood red -> Red Wash x 1 --> Chestnut wash x 2... so there it is.

I am not sure if these are converted or just older models. I think that the lord is a conversion of a BA HQ though. Either way I think the Berzerkers look similar to the older GW marines and I like that.

Nice work! This is a great example of old-school World Eaters, I much prefer the way the GW studio ones used to look in the 2nd/3rd ed Chaos codexes.

For the Retinue, the bare leg guys are all REALLY old berzerkers... honestly I'm not even sure when they were made. They're possibly 20 years old. There's also a Kharn the Betrayer model that I just slapped a skull on to match with the rest of the retinue and lord.
