Hello, I couldn't find another place to post this, so it might be on the wrong category.

Anyway, I have gathered up a few Space Marine sprues and along with it comes the dreadfull birdheads.
I know some people out there got a twisted sence on whats awesome, so is this something that would sell?
I think I got about 10 heads, what are they worth?

Thanks.

Ebay is your friend, but if you don't want to do that, I will buy them for 1 cent if you pay shipping.

At least $1 a head I would say but do a search for bit's sites, and you'll get a ball park.

Reason they're in demand is certain marine chapters kind of all wear them as a characteristic. Sons of Orar to name one. Typically all beakie heads and studded shoulders.

As someone who first saw a Space Marine in 1988 I can tell you the Corvex helm is the abasloute pinacle of awesome.
"IF" I ever painted SM I would go exclusive on the "beak" helm.

As stated, ebay them mate.

^^Yep this. The very first space marines they made a long long time ago (1988) wore the beakies. That's why people like em, they're paying a little homage to the good old days (or making a chapter from the good ole days). Beakie helmets, one studded shoulderpad worn on the left side, the legs without the kneepads, and the chest with no emblem and the crossing radiator hoses...all from the marine sprues lets you relive that awesome.

On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.

mk6 is my favorite mark of armor, what I wouldn't give for a squad of them. I might buy some more beekees soon!

Anyone who DOESN'T love beakie helms might just be unworthy of leading a space marine force...

You should have no problem selling them if you price them right.

Haha, I just don't like those helmets

Anyway, thanks for all your replys, but at the moment I was just looking into if they were worth anything.
Once my collection of beaks and the shoulder pads have grown a bit, I might just put them out on ebay

Columbus, Oh

beakie helms tend to sell for about a buck each... and studded pads for 75 cents to a buck each.

BUT..

sell em here or bartertown instead of ebay and save some fees!

(I have a Chapter worth of painted marines, and they ALL have beakie helmets)

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

As said already I'm sure theyd sell. How much is another story. But I constantly get people saying how awesome my beakie squad is. All 10 models have beakie helms and studded shoulders. A few even have studs elsewhere.

Believe it or not, the beaky heads are in very high demand. Personally, I think they look way better than the stub-faced pig snout helmets. I have an entire squad of grey hunters equipped with the beaky heads.

As has been said, your best bet to find out pricing is to check ebay and then check the various bits shops. They're in high demand because the people that need them, usually want a lot of them.
