Hi all, I'm thinking about going back to the green skins. I've done lists, any pointers? Which is better?

As much as I love biker armies, I think the first list would be better. It would be more survivable and has more ranged firepower.

Your first list would need a 2nd Warboss in order to use a 2nd squad of troop nobs.
What are the meks in the loota squds doing?
2 lootas isn't going to be that useful (shooting wise).
What are the meks armed with?

Dont take list 1 it has to many upgrades to your battel wagons and not enough troops. List 2 is good but you can make it better. Make 2 nob deathstars at 10 syrong with a painboy and waaagh banner and ar least 3 PKs. Then take as many warbiker units as can fit with the nob upgrade and a PK. Do that and youll be golden.

Good point, I'd have to jig something around. Everything is as it comes unless otherwise stated. The meks are good for fixins, I've chosen to use loota mobs over burnas because they're better from distance.

Yes. If you do a 2 nob biker death star and take only warboss bikers then you only have 2 scoring units while as with 1 warboss and wazdakka, you can have 5 scoring units at the most effective list build.

I think that 20 biker Nobs is going to be too much for 2k, would more normal bikers be better?

You want the nob bikers at 10 so when you attach the warboss or wazdakka to either one so that become fearless. And you want your warbikers units to be 6 or above because if theyre shot at by multiple units its not hard to cause a Ld test.
Also i would drop stickbombs from all units that may upgraded with them. Orks have poor initiative anyway so even if youcharge into terrian it wont make a difference against most armies or if want to throw grenades the stick bomb has poor S.

No, they are 10. he is saying 9 nobz + 1 pain boy. so 10 in total.

I disagree. 10 is a bit overkill and not necessary anymore. With them being T 5 its hard to IK them so they should last longer. Not to mention they are all Characters so they all can LOS. I would drop them to about 6-7 and add more bikes to the other squads. Dropping 2 PK's from each as well would save points for more bikes. As has been mentioned the stikkbombs are a waste. And Nobs in bikes squads need Boss poles.

Not my style of list, but I think it could be fun to play.

I was thinking for aiming for around 6/7 nobz. I was also worried about my low bike count in the normal squads, I used to run them in squads of 6 and they did pretty well.
So maybe..

Yeah, thats probably the better bet to me. I like better then the other list for sure.

I really do like biker lists. Any chance you can bring some better antiflyer and antitank.
Maybe deffkoptas lead by warboss?
Else 3 dakkajets.
Or maybe just maybe some common as muck necron flyers.

Otherwise bikers rule, they are hard to play but you should have fun. Then you have deathstars which again are very much hit and miss, about 400 points in one unit is where you should stop adding upgrades.
