Probably been done, but I call it the "Fex Wall". I have to give Quilava1 some credit as our discussion in the DE rumor thread prompted my trying to include a venomthrope in a list.

9 Fexes go up front in a wall (duh). Center unit goes in a ^ wedge shape so the venomthrope can lurk out pf TLOS behind 9 freakin fexes!

Tervigon ranges behind to provide synapse but doesnt really have to I guess. If they fail IB they get Rage.

Flyrant does its thing. Pops vehicles in the butt if they fire templates, charges units with annoying characters who cares?

For scoring you have the termagants for however long they last. The Tervigon is scoring and poops out more termagants to score also. "Big Guns Never Tire" is especially lol worthy as your Fex units now score.

Not a great list (hence "bad" in the title) but it would be sort of hilarious to drop 9 carnifexes on the table and be like "deal with it'.

Drop the Hive Tyrant and pick up 2 Primes so you can do some Look Out Sir! shenanigans on 2 of the Carnifex units.

What wargear the Carnifexes got?

The Venomthrope will be slagged in no time, you can try and hit it the best you can, but it's the first and easy target.

160 pts is the base scything talon carnifex with no shooting at all. You really need guns on those to make them work, even if you have to drop 1 or 2.

Agree a single venomthrope won't see out the first turn.

Single FMC is not going to do much at 2k either. A single lasgun hit - no need to even wound - can cause a S9 hit if you fail your 4+ roll. Not good

In that case, Fexes without guns make me sad :( . They really need double devourers.

Lol, this is a cool list and looks really fun. But I agree that you need 2x brainleech on the fexs, so drop 1 or 2 fexs to pay for it, and go with the 2 primes for added synapse. The venomthrope should be fine since it can LOS behind the fexs. I think I might have to go pick up some fexs myself.

Oh I forgot, as a 2000 point list you need a double force org meaning 4 troops and 2 HQ minimum. So that is something to consider.

he doesn't need double force org. carnifexes can come in squads.
