so i got inspired .... either because of the fact that i need 2-3 tervigons and only had 20 bucks to spend.... or. that i wanna be creative. i made this using a styrofoam ball...air dry clay. some plasticard, and some 5 min epoxy putty. its still very wip..so be kind

Proportionwise I like it - has that 'giant armoured egg sac' look. What were you planning on using for legs? The look reminded me of an idea I had for a tervigon that would have small crocodile-style legs to waddle across the table, spurting eggs as it goes

yeah im gonna use trygon 3 pai of scything talons for legs...

nice work, sir. what are your thoughts on the head and gribbly bits?

gooing to use a carnifex head... with the tusks and horned. because ive always loved that look. gotta get trygon scything talons for legs. and some detailing work to do..

currently using a file ...small triangle one to give the armor plates some detail. kinda like how the forgeworld tyrants armor is super textured. pix will follow

ok the bits i ordered finally came in. and here is a small update. blue tac'd them on and loving the look. now im just waiting on my greenstuff to get here and then ill be happy.

Yes it is finally here... another update... tho it a small one. got the base in for the tervigon also did some convertion work on the fleshborer hives. still need to greenstuff armor plates onto the fleshborer hives but aside from that. ive added some veining to the egg sack.

Still think it either needs some bigger feet with splayed toes/claws, or another pair of feet holding it up (or limbs posed to look like they're helping carrying the weight despite not being feet as such) - it looks too heavy for just two little legs.

Otherwise, looking good.

i wanna make the scything talons touch the ground when finished t help hold it up...almost like the actual tervigon model

Im really quite pleased on how this guy came out... now i just need to make his 2 brothers and we will be all set... they are actually already in production as we speak..

more updates for the dakka dakka nation. got some paint up on the tervigon. spray based it my krylon ultra flat green camo base paint. and the 3 tone dry brush on the skin. started the purple areas... the fleshy bits.
