Removing a words from the word filter

I was wonder about the possibility of removing the world "_coon" from the word filter. Someone was looking to buy a Maine_coon cat and it led to hilarious results. I think the offensive version of it is archaic enough enough that it might not warrant inclusion on the badword list anymore, but of course, you know better then I about how many times it's flagged.

Less likely, what about the word "_retard", for referring to the product used to slow the drying of paint? Granted this one is so commonly abused here that it's totally unlikely this will happen but I figured while I was asking anyway I should throw it out there.

I've always called the paint additive retarder, though. That gets through ok.

Looks like "retarder" isn't actually blocked, so maybe nay on 2 as well actually. You know what they say about assumptions.

Yup, 'retarder' is fine, as it's pretty exclusively used in the technical sense. The root word tends to be purely used is the derogatory fashion, though, and so is likely to remain blocked.

The other one has been discussed before. Given that this is a wargaming forum, and as such discussion of breeds of cats is not really a primary function of the site, eliminating the offensive usage of the word is the bigger priority. While it may have sunk into disuse in some areas, it's certainly alive and 'well' in others.
