Here it goes I'm new to the Dark Angels so please forgive me if this is a horrible list:

HQ:

Belial - TH/SS (130)
Inter Chaplain - Combi-melta (125)

Troops:

(1)

1x TH/SS (Apoth)
1x TH/SS (Banner)
1x TH/SS (Sergeant)
2x LC
(270)
- Belial would be homing in with this squad

(2)

2x TH/SS
1x TH/SS (Sergeant)
2x LC
(215)
- Chaplain would be homing in with this squad

(3)
(4)

2x TH/SS
1x TH/SS (Sergeant)
1x TH/SS/CML
1x PF/Assault cannon
(265)
- Both squads are for obj holding

Fast Attack:

1x 6 Bike Squadron ( teleport homers )
(220)
- these will be combat squaded in 2 units of three

Heavy Support:

2x Pred w/TL las and heavy B
(260)

This leaves me with 100 points not sure what else to throw in any help would be great from experienced DA players.

Regards

Well, for starters, you cannot put both an assault cannon and CML in a squad.
That said, if you pulled the CML from that squad and put that into a diff squad, and then put a CML in your "command" squad, then bumped your Chap up to terminator armor.
The remaining points toss a multi-melta attack bike into that bike squad.

One of the biggest benefits to Deathwing is having the ability to mix and match your squads.
Most people do this by simply adding a heavy weapon (generally a CML) to their CC squads, which is a pretty good way to go for the most part.

For the points cost, you are not going to get a better upgrade than a CML on your terminator squads. (unless you count the typhoon missile upgrade on a speeder, but that is almost required for a speeder to be in most lists)

HQ:

Belial - TH/SS (130) With Los I think him having LC's is the best option now.
Inter Chaplain - Combi-melta (125) He needs to be in Term armor, He is also under points. He should be 130pts.

Troops:

(1)

1x TH/SS (Apoth)
1x TH/SS (Banner)
1x TH/SS (Sergeant)
2x LC
(270)
- Belial would be homing in with this squad
Looks ok. Not sure if you need all the TH/SS put personal choice.
(2)

2x TH/SS
1x TH/SS (Sergeant)
2x LC
(215)
- Chaplain would be homing in with this squad
Same thing
(3)
(4)

2x TH/SS
1x TH/SS (Sergeant)
1x TH/SS/CML
1x PF/Assault cannon
(265)
- Both squads are for obj holding
As has been mentioned. You can not have both Heavy weapons in each squad. I thought you had them together but looked at points are you seem to have both. I personally like the CML's better. Longer range and both AT and AI at the same time.
Fast Attack:

1x 6 Bike Squadron ( teleport homers )
(220)
- these will be combat squaded in 2 units of three
I would like to see Plasma Guns on them. They are nice to stay at range and help with heavy armored units and light vehicles.
Heavy Support:

2x Pred w/TL las and heavy B
(260)
I personally like Vindies better. But if they work great.
This leaves me with 100 points not sure what else to throw in any help would be great from experienced DA players.
A lot of players like myself take Typhoon speeders. Not sure if only one would help though. but fixing the last 2 squads of terms you will end up with enough to get 2. That could be a good thing. Re work the list a bit and fix the issues that have been mentioned.

Regards

Hope this helps. Good Lcuk!

Just a quick FYI: you may as well leave the second speeder home if you are not putting the 10 point missiles on there.
Also, I like swapping the HB on all of my speeders with a MM (free swap).
I tend to run Belial with LC all the time. This makes good use of his higher initiative to tear people up before they get to wreck his squad.
For the price, I personally don't like predators. Instead, you could run another terminator squad and throw in two more CML, or use a couple more CML and then the vindi.
50 pts for a MM attack bike is awesome as well (2 wounds, T5, multimelta and twin linked bolter that can move around quite quickly to blast things)

Ok thank you nolzur . I took your advice into consideration Im going to run a proxy game and see how it fairs. For the most part I like what you said makes sense.

The landspeeders really ought to be MM+typhoon missile launchers.
All termy squads need CMLs, they struggle to get into cc so shooting becomes very important. CMLs are good for range and they are cheap.

Chaplain is not so brilliant as you will either tear things apart in cc or not, the boost is not really needed compared to what other cool stuff you could spend points on.

Teleporting down termies has so many risks. Personally I would argue it is not the best tactic most of the time. Several reasons. I'll give two: it separates your termies, as such 5 termies alone usually in assault or rapid fire distance to not last so long; it keeps units off the board, when they could have missiles and be killing things.

But if you do want to do it then of course bring the expensive bikers.
They will better as 3 bikes with 2 plasma guns or melta guns, and then an attack bike. This also gives you two scouting teleport homers.

You should also consider allies.
Like vanilla marines:
librarian with termy armour and SS is a better boost than your chaplain.
scouts with camo cloaks and homer, would be a better homer unit than your bikers.
Else scouts with Telion is pretty awesome and means you have a squad to arm a quadgun of an ADL.
scout bikers are also a better homer unit than your bikers.
Then vanilla pred is cheaper than DA pred.
Then 2TLautocannon dread will nicely replace a DA pred.

Also bring something to shoot at flyers, I hate repeating this, This is no offence to you at all more over they haven't given many armies anything to deal with flyers as a matter of course. Especially if the next round of FAQs they give armies flakk missiles then it will be just a small number of months just so GW can sell tonnes of flyers.

Have fun.
Also you should ask advice on how to build the termies and how to play them. Neither is easy.

Is there really that big of demand on Fliers? I myself and everyone that I play with find Fliers really not worth their points. We have tried all of them and have found that they seem to be a support unit that really doesn't do much in the ways of the game. Hard to use and move and not much in the ways of fire power. The Stormraven we have found to be the best, but that is only cause the amount of weapons it brings. I don't honestly worry about fliers at all. Other places might be different.

I think it's really a fad and will stop being so popular when the FAQ does come out and more units have Skyfire rules.

Never run a Predator with Lascannon turret and HB sponsons. Autocannon turret plus Lascannon sponsons is way better. Autocannon + HB is okay too.
