So, I have to option to buy some of the old IG Leman Russ kits (The Mk IV. variant I believe?) and wanted to know if they have the option to make the autocannon armed exterminator variant. This would not be the most recent kit, but the one from before. It's the one that has all the seperate little wheels and track pieces.

I already have tons of battlecannon russes, what I need are modular ones that I can put exterminator cannons on. So I guess that's my question. Do they come with autocannons?

Well, and if you paid slightly more, you could get the exact same box with a couple of pewter bitz thrown in to make it a demolisher. In any case, it's not what you're looking for.

Of course, if you have some spare autocannons or aluminum tubing lying around, I'd still go for it. Most of the cost of the russ comes from the chassis rather than the turret weapon.

If you really don't want to bother, and you have the option to get them for pretty cheap, you could always buy them and then just act as a middle-man. I'm sure there are others out there looking...

Yeah double checked the auction and they deffinitely don't have the auto cannon accessory. Oh well, not many IG players at my store use them, so I'll ask em if they have any spare exterminator guns laying around. Shouldn't be too hard, since we have a good 4 or 5 IG players besides me, one of whom owns somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 Leman Russ battletanks of various types.

There WAS an exterminator box.
Just like the demolisher.

Plastic leman russ kit with a blister of metal bits (TL autocannon turret and iirc a metal heavy bolter part for the front hull mounted gun).
