I already have 6 Wolf Bikers (1 to be a WG) and an attackbike+MM
One has a meltagun

Is a Plasmapistol for the Wolf Guard now a Viable option? what are your thoughts on Power Weapons/Fists for both the WG and the squad?
What sort of role are they best used in? I'm guessing more like shooting than assaults, but... ?
Do I need more of them? (I've also considered converting a Priest for them)

Anyone got ideas for how to be build them and use them? I've been running them for years and really love them but have only ever had mixed success with them
They're also bullet magnets

- 10,000+ (since 1994)
- 5000 (since 1996)
Harlequins/Ynnari -2500
Empire - 3000 (Current build)
Dwarves - Old and desperately in need of updating

They are going to be bullet magnets every time. Some people will see them and think they are a huge threat and will try to put em down. I would say either gear em for combat and get em in quickly or gear em for shooting and spend as much time harassing their HQs or a specific unit as possible. Either way i would say have a task in mind as your deploying and try and complete it

Tyranids will consume the universe!!! There is no chance for survival!!
.........eventually anyways.........

First you need to figure out there job. Are they going to be Anti-Infantry, Anti-Tank/MC, what is there Role within your army?

Then Build your list around them, you can not just tack them on as an after thought. They are going to then need a Leader or Headstrong will force you to Assault things you don’t want them to. I would go with a Wolf Priest and/or Wolf Guard, Battle Leader or Pack Leader works well.

If you want more read my Space Wolf Synergy Thread or one of the Tacticas

Premeasuring and impact hits mean you are unlikely to assault something you do not want to.

Priest on a bike is what they need, this makes them ok. This makes up for lack of BS and WS.

It is strange to say but just take ultrasmurf bikers as allies.
