Why did the Ultramarine tell the inquisitor that Titus was part of Chaos?
Just because Titus touched the warp shouldn't make him automatically Chaos...
All the psykers basically use the warp anyways...
I am not 100% clear on the fluff so it would be nice if anybody would clear it up for me~
Thanks

Thinking of Joining a Davinite Loge

The rookie [I forget his name] is so bound to the Codex, he takes every word for literal value. Turning in Titus was inevitable after heavy exposure to Chaotic taint.
What the rookie does not realise is that, in truth, the Codex is best served as a guideline. Taking it for absolute face-value leads to messy situations such as the turning in of yo' Captain. I am sure that Titus brushes upon this at various points in the game, including the final end cinematic.

But I mean like other Chapters and even their Chapter probably has Librarians which all touch the Warp since they are psykers?
Like Grey Knights are ALL psykers, soooooo they are all corrupted?? It's so weird for them to think that there is no resistant to Warp when a lot of people do...
Anyways it's just weird for him to say it...The inquisitor would have gone home and say oh nevermind and let him go...
Also why does Titus say Leftanent for Lieutenant?

There is a differance. Librarians are taught extensive control of their abilities and have safeguards. Titus had none of that training, and his contact with the warp was a bit out of the ordinary if I recall properly.
It was still a douche thing for the Marine to do, but there was some reason behind it.

In Britain ( GW is british) lieutenant is pronounced as leftenant

Because Lef-tanent is the right way of saying it in English

Well, it's my first time hearing it
I learnt my in Hong Kong which uses British English...
But wouldn't it be said "in lieu" instead on "in lef"?
Anyways, I just reread Grey Knights fluff and it says that they shroud their presence from other Marines so I guess he has never seem them before...
I don't know what is over exposed in terms of warp, but from the game I would say it seemed less than what Psykers would use normally...

leftenant is the proper british way of saying it
Pretty much, Titus was some form of Null / Blank where Psychic Powers had little effect on him. Lysandros mistook this for warp corruption and turned him in to the Inquisition.
The Inquisitor seems smart enough to know that "Hey, wait a minute, this could be useful" instead of outright execution, so, we'll see.

Ok....
4th Company Captain Uriel Ventris of the ultramarines was basically exiled from the chapter from deviating from the codex, just slightly. He was in command of a force to defend a world, and he took part in a mission to end the threat by going with the Deathwatch. This was against the codex. For this, HE WAS BANISHED. Calgar and the rest of the captains straight up told him that the codex was law, and always had to be followed. He didn't even speak out against the codex, he just did something against it.
For Titus to actively suggest he knew better than the codex is tantamount to heresy in the Ultramarines. He would certainly have faced at least banishment, possibly execution, by his peers should he have returned.
That said, the Ultramarines would never tolerate the Inquisition to judge one of their captains.. only the other captains and chapter master would be allowed to sit in judgement over him. I would expect Calgar to demand his release, only to throw him in prison until a suitable penance can be thought of.

Are you a cat? You're typing like when my cat walks across the keyboard.
I believe the end was to set up the second game (which may or may not ever come out, even though it sold fairly well) so Titus could be drawn into the Inquisition and serve as a member of the Deathwatch in the sequel. The character mirrors Uriel Ventris in a few ways, so it wouldn't be out of the question.

Uriel was restored to command eventually though, after his brief stroll through the eye of terror... mostly because he saw in the eye what can happen if you take baby steps away from the codex, leading to bigger steps... he's now a full blown adherent to it.
I don't see that kind of change from Titus. He's as good as dead

I think THQ said that making the 2nd one is very unlikely due to some reason that I forgot...
I rather play as other races than to play as Space Marines again...
Let me play an Ork with a tellyporta with a Big Shoota now that is fun...
Or let me play a raid of a Dark Eldar or something

Because THQ is circling the drain right now. Their official reason was because with Dark Millennium coming out (no longer an MMO, now an action RPG with multiplayer elements) they don't want to clog the market with 40k games. The company is in dire straights though.

Yeah I think that was the reason, Dark Millennium was announced in 2010 it should be out by now...
Wonder how they are going to turn a MMO into a Single Player Game though~
Back to 40k: Space Marine...
The Last Boss was pretty bad too...just punch punch punch x 100 and then he's dead...
Would have been better if there was a better fight...IMO...

You're hardly alone in that. I really liked the game but the Quick Time Event bossfight was a cop out.

ROFL-have an exalt.
Lysandros is a crazy adherent to the codex, and takes the those who like chaos may withstand the touch of the warp passage as all who withstand touch of the warp=chaosss oh noessss! As to Ventris, the he was banished for deviating from the codex, but he went to play deathwatch, and IIRC the reason for banishment was that he abandoned his command when the deathwatch would have been able to complete the mission without him, thus violating the codex.
The look on the inquisitor's face when asking Lysandros if he's sure he wants to go forward with this suggests he's thinking "are you ing kidding me, this is a waste of time:hint hint, Lysandros." Titus is pretty much pure IMO, considering that the Inquisitor was reluctant, and that there was a squad of BT behind him, so if he was determined corrupted, I have a feeling the BT would have blown him away that moment, regardless of an inquisitor's judgement.
