Bikes have been nerfed a bit in 6th, but I just came up with this "back of the napkin" White Scars army list:

army commander with relic blade, iron halo
10-man command squad on bikes
-two plasma guns

Dreadnought with two autocannons

Dreadnought with two autocannons

Dreadnought with two autocannons

5-man bike squad
-two meltaguns
attack bike with multi-melta

-two meltaguns
attack bike with multi-melta

attack bike with multi-melta

attack bike with multi-melta

A) I'm debating whether or not to take an army commander or Kosarro Khan on Moondrakken

B) What should the bike squad sergeants be armed with? Power fist or lightning claw?

C) I'm thinking about adding a close combat Terminator squad (best loadout? lightning claws or thunder hammers?)

D) The termies will be mounted in either a drop pod or a Land Raider Crusader. Which?

Advice?

Looking for the Empire spearmen from the Warhammer sixth edition box set (empire vs orcs) Must be unpainted and in good condition. Also looking for MIB Empire State Troops boxes.

Looking for Battle for Macragge and Black Reach Tactical squads, unpainted and unassembled.

Termies can't take drop pods as a dedicated transports, so you'd have to buy it from somewhere else in the army.

Also, what points level is this for?

I thought a command squad could only go up 5 figures. I don't think it can go 10.

If you are thinking honor guard.... they cannot go on bikes.

Command squads are alway 5 man.

I was under the impression that white scars didn't really use dreadnoughts. Some storm talons would fill the same role. Or auto/las preds.

I run assault terminators in a 2 LC, 3 TH/SS mix. Codex only allows LRs to get them around.

With the amount of melta you are packing, do you really need the fists? If you get into a CC you don't like the look of, combat tactics out. I'd not bother to give them CC weapons.

And how do you feel bikes got nerfed? Overall I think they got stronger...

Stelek talk about how bikes have gotten beefed up in a few ways but overall nerfed;, unless you play Blood Angels; http://yesthetruthhurts.com/2012/07/running-bikes-in-6th-how-to-and-why/

I thought you could take a 10-man command squad because I found a photo of someone who did just that.

Don't have any points cost in mind.

Not too hung up on dreadnoughts, it's unfluffy, but Dread with autocannons are so good, I can't help it.

WIth so much melta you have to play closer to your opponents models which isn't a good thing, you want to be dancing around him so you stay out of assault. Make at least half those squads plasma.

I would make all the squads plasma. A land raider outflanking with terms is nice. I do that with my C:SM Doublewing army.

Yes I know they can't assault but the land raider can still fire its weapons and they have to worry about it. I even tried adding a Talon to help with it. Worked pretty good. Just not liking the fliers all that much.

Do you mean a Land Raider or Land Raider Crusader?

Which ever really. I like the reg LR more now as it can fire both las at a unit and then MS the Heavy bolter at some infantry. But the crusader is still pretty nice. I also have Khan join them. Furious charging Terms is awesome especially with hit & run.

You need to sit down with the codex rather than a napkin.

Yes, vanilla biker armies work.
Yes, take the captain on a bike rather khan, combat tactics is awesome and outflank is strange.
Yes, dreads are especially useful support as they can hit flyer well enough else take 3 stormtalons.
No, termies please, if you must bring deathwing.

Anyway you seem to have the right idea, good luck
