Here's the general idea: the Basilisks start on either ends of my deployment zones surrounded by one of the 20-man squads, which protect them from assault and can add some long range punch with the auto cannons (NOTE: I do NOT expect the blobs to do well in combat, they are there to prevent the artillery from getting eaten in close combat and claim a nearby objective in the late game). The rest of the list basically charges forward and lights up the enemy. Astropath is in to get my Vendettas early and on the table edge that I want them to arrive from.

My principal concern is the guys I have on foot. I ran a configuration similar to this in 5th edition to protect my Hydra batteries, but I don't know how well they'll work in 6th edition. I've also never really liked the idea of mixing heavy weapons into my infantry squads because then you're wasting all that small arms fire, but I didn't know how to fill in the last bit of points I had so I threw them in there. I also don't normally throw carapace armour onto my command squad, I'm a firm believer of lean and mean Guard, but again, I had points leftover that I didn't know what to do with.

On a FINAL note, there isn't much here in the way of anti-flyer because flyers are not in my local meta, so please refrain from suggesting Hydras or quad-guns, thank you.

All feedback welcome.

I think vendetas can handle other flyers so I will not suggest hydras which are not my favourite.

I would put not upgraded command squads in vendettas, they are cheap and make them scoring.

You have so many awesome heavy tanks, maybe even take another one.

ADL will give cover to the squads giving cover to the heavy tanks.

You happen to have written a list which could use Sisters of Battle. Rhino of battle sisters sits well with chimeras whilst they give you a fearless, FNP blob squad.
