I've divided the list into units, so that it's easier to see what goes where and how things work together.

Unit 1: The Glorious HQ Train

Wolf Priest: Runic Armour, Melta Bombs, Wolf Tail Talisman, Saga of the Wolfkin.

Wolf Guard: Combi-Melta, Power Fist.

10 Grey Hunters: 2 Meltaguns, Power Fist, Wolf Standard, Mark of the Wulfen.

Transport: Land Raider Redeemer with Extra Armour.

Should make it to combat, and if the Land Raider dies, should footslog their way quite happily. The Wolf Priest has Saga of the Wolfkin to make the most of the Fenrisian Wolves included in this list.

Unit 2: Grey Hunters are nice to have.

Wolf Guard: Combi-Melta, Power Fist.

9 Grey Hunters. Melta Gun, Mark of the Wulfen, Wulf Standard.

Transport: Rhino with Extra Armour.

Pretty similar to the first Grey Hunter squad, only that it lacks an independent character and rides a Rhino instead of a Land Raider.

Unit 3: Grey Hunters are our backbone!

Wolf Guard: Combi-Melta, Power Fist.

9 Grey Hunters. Melta Gun, Mark of the Wulfen, Wulf Standard.

Transport: Rhino with Extra Armour.

Identical to unit 2. Fortunately, they're not characters and subject to The Leaders of the Pack.

Unit 4: Tanks be damned.

6 Long Fangs: Squad Leader, 5 Long Fangs with Missile Launchers all.

"Transport": Razorback with Twin Linked Lascannon Turret.

They won't use the transport, it's just there to provide extra tank blasting.

Unit 5: Sixteen tons of hardware

Predator: Autocannon Turret, Sponson Lascannons, Hunter Killer Missile.

Looks nice and has killing potential.

Unit 6: Behind the enemy lines.

5 Wolf Scouts with Sniper Rifles.

For infiltration purposes.

Unit 7: Speed is where it's at.

Wolf Guard with Combi-Melta, Powerfist, Bike.
5 Swiftclaw Bikers, Flamer, Powerfist.
Attack bike with Multimelta.

Because the list needs a fast element.

Unit 8: Ain't called Space Wolves for nothing!

10 Fenrisian Wolves.

For merriment and diversion. Also, I wanted an excuse to take a Saga on the Wolf Priest.

TOTAL POINTS: 1997

I suppose this isn't super competetive, but how well could it do?

The Rhinos do not need extra armor and neither does the land raider. The HK missile is a waste of points. Get MM on the Redeemer and take a heavy bolter on the bike instead. The LR can use power of the machine spirit to shoot the MM at a different target each turn while the Bikes gun down infantry.

I'm not a fan of the fenrisian wolf pack but meh it's only 80 points. Try taking Saga of the Hunter instead. Then you the outflank USR on the priest allows his unit AND their dedicated transport to outflank!

2500 pts
