I am thinking of starting a determent of Allied Eldar for my IG. I usually buy 3rd party IG models, and I am wondering what are some good 3rd party Eldar models. If there are none, what would be a good model to convert into Eldar? In that case I was thinking of using the Elf models from Kings of War

Elf models from KoW are not the same scale and look nothing like the "eldar" aesthetic as laid down by Jes Goodwin (hallowed be his name).

They are closer in scale to lotr figures.

There aren't really any 3rd party eldar figures as yet. There are other manufacturer "elf-likes" but not eldar.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

If I didn't already have a full eldar army, there is a unit in the warmachine elves line that would make a fantastic unit of slightly more techy warlocks. I'm posting from a phone but I will see if I can find a picture or link when I get back to my PC.

Chapterhouse has three kit, including a rather neat Striking Scorpion Exarch with all the weapon options.

Also, like 8ball said: Privateer Press has some Elves that might work:

There's this guy as well from awhile back, he made a few interesting eldar-like things.

I feel like the biggest problem you'd have is getting aspect warriors to look different than those elves (Assuming they'd be guardians/dire avengers) and tanks

His stuff is really cool, Phantom could work for a vyper and bikes could replace jetbikes (obviously) though both are more expensive and OP would have to pay to have them shipped from AU

Yeah, the AU part is the unfortunate thing as their money is still worth something. Still, the stuff is pretty darn neat and worth at least considering in my book.

Edit: Wow, post 1000, never thought I'd get there.
