So I got a chance this past week to get to work on my three orky flyer kits.

I decided to go with three Blitza Bommas as they will be the most use to me given my regular opponents. I built each one a little differently for some visual variety, but all are armed WYSIWYG for Blitza Bommas.




I replaced the flight stands with segmented rods so that while they start at the standard height/angle, I can make the bommas bank, dive and pitch at just about any angle as needed to maintain balance on uneven ground or if I want a more cinematic loo for pictures, etc. The bases are also heavily weighted such that they are extremely stable regardless of terrain angle or the pitch of the plane:


They are only base coated here and I havent attached the big bombz yet as I am going to magnetize them with rare earth magnets.

I bought a cheap digital camera tripod and used the legs.

They bend/rotate at each segment making the positioning near endless. It really helps ensur ethe plane stays balanced and straight no matter what the angle of the terrain/table you are placing them on, and with the added bonus of allowing for some cool banking/diving action for pictures, etc.

Those look great! But here's the real question, are these dynamic poses accompanied with the proper sound effects?????

I did find myself making airplane noises rather frequently...
